LOCATION

This 30-acre site forms part of the former Beckton Gasworks, sitting at the northern-most point of the Royal Docks within the London Borough Newham.

EXISTING CONTEXT

Armada Way forms the northern boundary, with Royal Albert Dock to the south, Barking Creek to the east and Gallions Reach DLR directly to the west.

Adjacent to the site’s northern boundary lies Beckton DLR Depot and Gallions Reach Shopping Park a short walk to the north – both historically forming part of the wider gasworks site.

Over 400m of river frontage spans the eastern boundary, overlooking the the wide expanse of the Thames and the Victorian piers which served the former Gasworks, which will remain in-situ.
